Jessica's Letter


Samantha

I hope you are feeling better and the messages from the other girls have raised your spirits.  I was a little shocked when I got back after the weekend and read your message.  You are the person that brightens up an evening with your vivacious sense of humour and zest for life.  I guess we all have our moments of despair which at times can seem overwhelming with no end sight.  These moments of darkness may often be followed by moments of revelation, triumph, creativity, inspiration, and joy.

I like to think of myself as a positive person and always try to keep my focus on the positive.  I too have faced hardships, despair and depression, which are almost always followed by great experiences that make life wonderful and worth taking in everything it has to offer good and bad.

Please Samantha try to focus on the positive.  If you need help from a counsellor you should seek it.  You may have made the first step by posting your message.  Read what the other girls have written and take comfort in the words that we care about you and we wish you the best.
